Kids
for Kids, Dancing for Life, Inc. is
a non-profit fund raising 501 c-3 corporation dedicated to raising funds
for children's charities in the New England area. Established in 1994,
to date our group has raised more than $750,000 for local
charities. This has been accomplished through the combination of adult
and youth volunteers and the remarkable generosity of members of the business
community.
Kids
for Kids first event was a dance competition
held in April 1994. In the past seventeen years, that competition has evolved
into weekend long dance competitions, holiday benefit shows, toy collections,
charity dinners, shows, walks, and much more.
Kids
for Kids does a lot more than fund raising...it also shapes the
lives of young people who dedicate themselves to helping other children.
The organization fosters a spirit of compassion and devotion that our
children will carry into their adult lives. Several of our current board
members began in 1994 as young adults with the drive to do whatever was
necessary. Now adults, they still have that same drive and are role models
for the young children that help us today. We are proud of these incredible
people and know that they will take this organization beyond any goals
that are set. It is truly the belief of everyone involoved with Kids
for Kids, Dancing for Life, Inc. that if there is to be a better
future, it lies in our efforts to rear children who understand the importance
of reaching out to those less fortunate. Learning at an early age that
giving of one's self for the betterment of humanity is not just an act
of kindness, but rather a part of life.
Our
goal at Kids for Kids is to erase the homelessness and
illness that many children are faced with. We rely on the generosity of
businesses and individuals to accomplish this goal.
We
invite you to join our crusade and help us to erase all the pain, hunger
and poverty that have become such a common part of the lives of so many
children in our world today.
