Dear Friends:

Thank you for your interest in our organization. I would like to update you on some of the activities which have kept our Board of Directors busy over the past few months and the exciting plans we have for the upcoming year.

The Kids for Kids Board of Directors recently voted to expand its ranks by adding Miss Chelsea Branigan, a life-long volunteer with the organization. In addition, and with an eye to the future, the Board appointed a Junior Board with the following members: Billy Parisi, Laura Puopolo, Erin Marcucci, Stacey Richetelli, Megan Marcucci and Alisyn Narracci. These young people were selected due to their longstanding volunteer efforts and obvious commitment to the goals and objectives of Kids for Kids.

Two new and exciting initiatives were announced this summer. The first is the KFK-West Master Classes. With the support of area dance professionals, this event will benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Los Angeles. The second is the Kids for Kids Unified Show Choir which will be holding auditions this fall. The Unified Show Choir will work directly with organizations such as Special Olympics of CT, area schools and others to bring the message of Kids for Kids to the community.

In addition, we look forward to maintaining our relationships with other non-profits in the area such as the Ronald McDonald House of CT, Open Your Heart, Inc., and many others who help deliver programs and services to the youth of our region.  Working with groups such as these strengthens our network and greatly increases the effectiveness of Kids for Kids in meeting its mission.

We hope that these new initiatives and new board members will help take KFK to even greater heights of achievement. There is still much work to do and many children in need of our help. Please take a moment to review our sponsorship opportunities or get involved in other ways by supporting our programs throughout the year. It will be an exciting one. Thank you!

Sincerely,

Richard V. Branigan, President KFK
